COVID-19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES

ALL RESORT GUESTS MUST MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING OF 2 METERS AT ALL TIMES AND FOLLOW ALL PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS AS SET OUT BY THE PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICER.

NOTICE

At Lizard Creek Lodge, we are committed to providing a safe environment for both our guests and team members. We have redefined our cleaning and safety standards as well as our staff education and training to align with the recommendations and guidelines provided by the Government of BC, BC Ministry of Health, Interior Heath, and BC Center for Disease Control.

By booking and visiting Lizard Creek Lodge, you agree that you have read, understand and will adhere to the policies & procedures outlined below. Any guest that is found to be in contravention of these policies & procedures will be asked to leave the property and may be treated with disciplinary action. No refunds will be provided.

FOR THE SAFETY OF RESORT GUESTS AND OUR STAFF PLEASE DO NOT VISIT IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY:

  • If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing)
  • Live in a household with someone with COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19 or who is self isolating due to possible exposure to COVID-19
  • If you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 2 weeks or been in contact with anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the past 2 weeks.

GUEST HEALTH & SAFETY

  • All public health orders must be followed whilst staying at Lizard Creek Lodge. View the province wide restrictions by clicking here.
  • Enhanced cleaning measures and increased frequency of cleaning.
  • Reduced guest contact with hotel staff.
  • New engineering controls in common areas and at the front desk.
  • Hand sanitizing stations available in common areas of the hotel including, front and rear entrances, as well as in each elevator.
  • Signage in public spaces and in the elevator reminding guests to maintain social distancing and practice proper hand hygiene.

CLEANING & DISINFECTING

We are continually monitoring industry best cleaning practices; ensuring we are providing the highest level of cleaning and disinfecting.

  • We have developed a comprehensive cleaning plan and checklists to ensure we our cleaning procedures and frequencies are being achieved.
  • We use Government of Canada cleaning agents and disinfectants.
  • On top of our normal cleaning schedule, we have purchased professional cordless electrostatic sprayers, allowing us to disinfect more surfaces multiple times a day through dispelling a thinly sprayed disinfect. Not only will this help with turning over our rooms in between guests it will be extremely useful in cleaning high touch areas across the hotel daily including door knobs, elevator buttons and more.

STAFF HEALTH & SAFETY

We are committed to providing a safe work environment for our staff.

  • We have developed COVID 19 specific staff training passports and education documents to ensure our staff fully understand COVID 19 and our new standard operating procedures.
  • All staff are screened upon arrival to work each day.
  • Employees follow strict guidelines, including utilizing Personal Protective Equipment, frequent and stringent hand-washing protocols, and proper glove use and disposal.
  • Employee workstations are cleaned and disinfected after every shift.
  • Employees are empowered to stay home if unwell, communicate their potential exposure to COVID-19 with management, and will be fully educated on how to maintain a safe and clean home. 

Guest Services & Amenities

The Lodge Pool & Hot Tub
The Lodge Pool & Hot tub is open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. All rules posted on signage in the pool area must be followed. Pool and hot tub use is at the sole discretion of Hotel Management. Fitness Centre

Cirque Restaurant & Bar

Ice Bar
The Ice Bar is currently closed.

Check-in/out

Expedited Check-In
You will receive a text message on the morning of your arrival with a link to complete our expedited check-in for your stay. By following the link, reviewing our policies and confirming your details you can significantly reduce the length of time required to complete your check-in at our front desk and spend more of your time enjoying our resort. After completing our expedited check-in, feel free to enter the Lodge upon your arrival and we will go through the final steps to get you fully checked-in.

Contactless Check Out
Check-out time is before 10:00 AM.

When checking out we ask that you leave your keys in your room and call the front desk from you room phone to let us know you are departing. Once checked out, we will email you a copy of your receipt.

Sorry - we cannot accommodate late check-out requests at this time.

Guest Rooms

Room Inventory

  • We have removed many non-essential items such as decorative pillows, additional bedding, note pads, and pens from our rooms in an effort to help provide better cleaning
  • Kitchen inventories have also been reduced to essential items only. We fully wash all kitchenware between guests.

Housekeeping

  • We no longer offer daily housekeeping service. If you require any additional items or disposable amenities during your stay, please let us know and we will deliver it to your door.
  • We kindly ask that all guests remove the garbage from their room and dispose of it in the appropriate dumpsters upon departure. 

Maintenance

  • Any emergency maintenance issues that may arise during your stay that require immediate attention will be looked after by our experienced maintenance employees once you have vacated your room for the day. Any non-emergency maintenance items will be attended to upon your departure.
