Join us on Saturday, October 6th for the first annual Oktoberfest event at Fernie Alpine Resort. Enjoy craft beers from Mill Street, Stanley Park and Goose Island breweries along with ice cold Stella and Kokanee. Of course Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without delicious food, great entertainment and crazy contests!
We want you to be safe and have fun! A free shuttle will be available from the resort to town. Schedule coming soon…

3-7 pm Family Friendly Beverage Gardens in the Plaza with DJ Goffles (*all ages)
Pick up your exclusive Fernie Alpine Resort Oktoberfest Beer Mug for $10 – includes 2 beer sample tickets for the craft breweries.
Sample craft beers from Mill Street, Goose Island and Stanley Park breweries while enjoying live tunes from DJ Goffles. The BBQ will be going with Oktoberfest favorites – enjoy 3 different kinds of bratwurst along with yummy pretzels! For the kids we will have ice cold root beer to enjoy along with an activity station from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Kids can make their own “chicken hats” to wear during our Kids Chicken Dance contest at 4:30pm!! Other contests during the afternoon include Best Oktoberfest Outfit so come dressed in your best – judging will take place at 4:45pm and a Bratwurst Eating Competition at 5pm.
7:30 pm – 9 pm German Buffet Dinner with live Oktoberfest Oompa Band, European Touch (*ages 19+)
Enjoy a delicious Oktoberfest inspired buffet dinner in the Griz Bar while being entertained by a live Oompa Band! Dinner is $25 (+tax & gratuity) and tickets must be booked in advance by calling 250-423-2435 or emailing guestservices@skifernie.com. Limited tickets available. Advanced tickets are on sale until Friday, October 5 at 3pm (MST). Remaining tickets will be on sale onsite Saturday, October 6 (if available).
